Study: Repeat characterization in large plant genome
show Abstracthide Abstract
Characterization of abundance of repetitive sequences in plant species with broad range of genome sizes was performed. Repetitive DNA was quantified using bioinformatic analysis of low-pass WGS data with the aim to characterize proportion of low copy sequences and repetitive sequence. Comparison with nuclear genome size and repeat proportion was performed.
Sample: Podophyllum peltatum WGS
